D-BG2 Battery Grip. Anyone actually use one?

You can use the AC Adapter D-AC50 with the "DC IN 8.3V" port on the K10D.

Yep, but that adapter runs on 240V therefore for outdoor use you would need to carry an inverter. I’d rather use 2 batteries, one in the camera body and one in the D-BG2, and let the camera drain one at the time with menu option “automatic”.
The adapter is excellent for studio work with mains socket nearby; in the field outdoors you want to have portable power.
