Where to buy filters

With my slowly expanding collection of lenses, I find myself in need of some filters. I thought I'd ask the knowledgable folks here for suggestions where to buy from. Filter Connection (2filters.com) seems to have a good reputation, and has low shipping costs to Canada. Any other suggestions?

My experience has been that B & H has as good a selection and slightly better pricing, at least for the 8 or so I've bought. YMMV.

Same here.

Disclaimer: I went to grad school with the owners, but that doesn't change the fact that they have good prices on quality goods.

"to many countries outside of the USA for only $20 USD (via FedEx)."

As any Canadians who have ever shipped from the US know, this is a deal killer. Courier fees for clearing customs can add 50% to the shipped price. Unless they will ship USPS to Canada, this is a non-starter. Have to look into it.

Not to mention that $20USD is about $15 too high! The shipping price in the US is fair though. Hopefully they will ship by post for a reasonable price.

Thanks for the replies. I have some reading and emailing to do.

A second thumbs-up for these guys. Fast delivery, good prices, and well packaged. I do admit to only having ordered from them once (parcel arrived this week).

No reply after 4 days from CameraGear.com, re: wether they will ship USPS to Canada. Not looking good. I'll give them until the weekend before I dismiss them as a possibility.

I will reiterate what silverbullet says. Courier service from the USA can be very expensive and is never the same that they quote to the American senders. USPS is reliable.

You might want to look into the Cokin filter system.

Grat source for adapter rings. Up size or down size and they are cheap.
