But do they actually stay on? Seems like all the cheapo third-party rear caps I've had are always too loose. I've taken to getting a couple genuine Pentax caps with every order to B&H.

Genuine lencaps aren't all that expensive. Get the real thing and forget about the pain of caps that fall off and let the mechanicals at the rear of the lens get damaged.
