SD Cards: Attention Wal-Mart shoppers!

Wal-Mart.com has some really good deals on the Sandisk Ultra II cards. While they're not an authorized dealer for the mail-in rebate program, their prices make up for it.

4GB: Walmart.com: SanDisk 4GB UltraII SDHC Card: Digital Cameras
B&H price is $19.95 before rebate. The WM price makes up for it and you don't have to fool with the rebate.
8GB: Walmart.com: SanDisk 8GB SDHC Ultra II Card: Digital Cameras
B&H price is $34.95 before rebate. Even with the rebate, WM still beats them on the price.

A caveat: if you're looking to buy more than 1 and you don't mind dealing with the rebate (dispensed as a Visa gift card), then you'd be better off going that route. The WM deal is still a good deal for those who'd rather not deal with rebates or simply dislike Visa gift cards.

I ordered one of the 4GB cards to replace another 4GB card with a broken tab. After trying the tape trick to get it to read again and it getting stuck in one of my cameras, I gave up and opted to replace it.

Heather

Those are Class 2 cards. You can do much better buying Class 4 cards through Buy.com

8GB: SanDisk 8GB Ultra II Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) High Performance Card - SDSDRH-008G-A11 - Buy.com

I just bought (2) Transcend 8GB Class 6 cards from Newegg.com for $20ea.
