SD card carrying case

I thought since SD cards are now so common, a carrying case for multiple of these should be easy to find.

How mistaken I was! The SD card pouch I can find with the most capacity is 6 SD cards.

So I wonder, what do you store you SD cards in? Is there anyone who makes a compact box or pouch that lets you store 10 or more SD cards on the go?

Check out this line of cases:

Pelican Memory Cases

I use the 0910 and it works great, small enough to fit into a pocket or easily into the camera bag, I rotate top row and bottom row to know which card to use next and cards not to be overwritten go in upside down so it's easy to know which one to leave alone until it's all downloaded.

I've been using it for about 3 years now and it's strong as new.

Thanks for the tips! That's interesting - from your name I guess you too are from Toronto! May I ask where you got the 0910? Pelican's site does not list any retailers...

I use a small divided case bought at a fishing store. Comes with a gasket and is divided in 3 sections. each is the just a little wider than an SD card and the case holds about 50 cards in total. (cards are stored without their individual cases obviously)

case is about 6cm wide, 10 cm long and 2 cm deep. they come in different divisions, none, 6 (but I removed the center divider to make 3 larger divisions) and 4 divisions. set of 3 cost me $6

Both of my camera bags have a pouch attached for memory cards to be stored. I've never had a need to use SD cards separate from the camera.

I use this one (two, actually):

Gepe | Card Safe Mini (Green) | 3854 | B&H Photo Video

They come in a nice, obnoxious lime green that I can find in my camera bag. They also have larger sizes.

I should check radioshack as the others here are kinda expensive for a memory card case.
Thanks for the heads up!

another option

My preference, includes a nice option to attach the case to your belt with the velcro "slip-lock":

Lowepro - DMC-Z

Worked very well at a reception: it's always on my person, so the filled cards are not a concern if any of my gear was stolen. I can replace the gear, but not those images on the cards.

Regards,
Marc
