What do people prefer now (almost an year after last post)

Venus GoGo seems to be out of stock. Digital Foci seems to be an options though.

These days it is probably best to go with a netbook.

They're incredibly portable, battery lasts forever, and they're not very expensive.

The Asus 1000HE is a great unit.
