Hello,
Are you referring to the one that attaches to the lens and places a left and right image side by side on the imaging sensor?

If so, I have used a similar attachment and would be happy to try and answer any questions you may have.

Also, there are a number of 3D groups on yahoo groups that have members that may own one. I am a member of photo-3D
photo-3d : True 3D (stereoscopic) imaging.

Hope this helps,
Regards,
mteetank

No, no problems. It works fine with all of my family. I was just curious as to whether anyone was still using one. I must give mine some exercise now spring is here. I'll check out the group you mentiion.

Re: Stereo

Using one on a digital would be great. I still do stereo cards but use two digital canons and have to assemble in photoshop. With the pentax you could just enlarge the side by side image, crop and view.

I just looked on ebay but the pentax stereo attachment still goes for a lot.

Well, enjoy your new found old toy!

Best regards,
mteetank

What are the prices on Ebay? Not that I plan to part with it while I can still get E6 film.

I had to stop and think, when I read your sentence - spring? Hey, autumn is approaching rapidly here. Then I saw your NZ signature.

The last ebay offers I saw of the stereo attachment (they seem to be rare) was around 100 Euros.

I have recently had delivery of a brand new Pentax Stereo Attachment 52mm. I had to wait nearly 4 months for it. It cost $189 inc viewer. At last I can take stereo pictures of family, wildlife, etc. I have to admit that I am rather disappointed in the size of the vertical separation bar. Its shading effect is so pronounced that it almost seems as though the two images have different exposures. I can editing the bar but was hoping to not have to do this.
