EV has no effect when HSS

I jut got a metz 58, but according to my test, it seems no difference to put EV+2 or EV+0 from the falsh when in PTTL-HSS mode. Is this normal ?

HSS has far less range than normal flash - perhaps it has no more power. Try -3 EV.
