Giottos glass screen protector

I searched a little here and didn't find mention of this protector, so thought I'd post a little feedback.
After reading reviews and posts and having some previous experience with plastic film-type protectors, I decided to try this one:
Giottos | SP8270 AEGIS Professional Glass Optic Screen | SP8270
The model in the link is 2.7"/60.8x48mm and fits the K20 very well. It also has a 12-layer coating and uses Schott glass.
Install was easy and there are no bubbles. In use it seems to actually improve IQ of the screen, but it's hard to confirm that. It definitely doesn't degrade the IQ and seems capable of protecting the LCD much more than plastic film.
I haven't used it in bright sunshine yet, but I think today is the day because the clouds are gone and I'm heading out.
It was @$30 delivered and so far I'm happy with the decision.

thanks...never even knew this product existed and have always used a hard plastic protector that came with the camera armor...

After using it for the last week I can say I have no issues at all. It cleans up easily (nose prints!) and doesn't affect the IQ of the screen that I can tell. It may even help a little in direct sunlight, but it's hard to tell now.
I like it and highly recommend.
