Hi,
99 limit for time-lapse in K7 sucks big time. at this moment as i understand there is only one option - get an external intervalometer. there are some threads about this topic, but none of them gave me a direct answer.

the particular one caught my eye:
Timer Remote Cord for Pentax K20D K10D K200D K100D *ist - eBay (item 330346787168 end time Jan-18-10 21:20:30 PST)

i know that it can do unlimited actuations, the only question is - will it work with K7? i personally don't see a reason why it shouldn't, but unfortunately i got a response from one of ebay sellers that it would not work. he probably is simply referencing a list of models provider earlier by manufacturer, but just to make certain - will this remote work properly? does anyone have any experience with it?

thanks in advance

If it works for the K10D/K20D, then it should work for the K-7. The remote connection are all 2.5" stereo jacks, and both ebay items linked seem to have this plug.

I actually like this one better.

DealExtreme: $39.90 JJC TM-C LCD Timer Remote Shutter for Canon/Pentax/Contax/Samsung DSLR/SLR Cameras

From the photo you'll see it has an on/off switch that the other lacks. The unit is shorter but fatter than the other remote. Both operate pretty much the same, but this one is easier for me to read the LED display.

I just saw this one, I don't own it like the other two. If you are looking small this might be the one.

Thank you

The small one actually looks great and it seems like you can disconnect the cable to from the main unit itself.
Better for storage or if the cable breaks, just buy or make a new one.
