Tripod Transport

I didn't feel like having to get the tripod out of a bag every time I needed to take a photo. When I go hiking or need to carry the tripod around I came up with this simple plan.

Items Required:

1 Tripod

1 adjustable shoulder strap with pad for comfort
1 3/8 bolt with hole drilled through the threaded end
1 heavy duty key chain ring

True but, I saved myself $25 USD towards LBA

More like $18 USD via Amazon. And I can use it on different tripods.

$18, $25, $14 on sale, my savings still goes towards LBA

Mine can be used on a new tripod and it's more secure. Drill a 3/8" hole at the bottom of the center column and pop in the bolt. Done.

Whatever works

Part of my problem is that I keep a tripod in the trunk of both cars (mine & wife's) so I keep the strap in my bag. Plus the neither tripod has enough center column for this. At least not after I cut them off.....
