Lacrosse Power Adapter Recall

If you have the Lacrosse battery charger, please check this recall notice for the power adapter to see if you are affected.

Apparently Lacrosse switched to a new power adapter whose voltage is above specification (3.2 volts instead of 3.0 volts), which people are suggesting is responsible for the high rate of meltdowns reported for this charger.

If your adapter is affected, you really want to get it replaced.

Hmmm..it's a good thing I got the Eneloop ones as I was also contemplating on these types of chargers as an alternative.

Yep. Got one of these for Christmas. Mine is effected. I just unplugged and will send in. thank you!
