I got this one off Ebay from a powerseller (Dreamhouse403), i haven't used it as yet.

JJC - Multi-Function Timer Remote Control

Found the Ebay auction, there are many others i'm sure they all work...

I bought one the same but have only played with it for a few minutes (driving my K10D). It's easy to use and program.

I purchased one thru Amazon. It is made by Opteka. Haven't used it to the full extent, but works well.

So you can use this to take time lapse photos without having to hook the camera up to Remote Assistant?

yes. Have a read of the specs but basically you set the following :
- delay before taking the 1st pic.
- delay between pics.
- shutter speed (can be seconds like you are using the B setting on the camera) or by setting it to 0 you can let camera control choose.
- number of pics (up to 399 I think).

It also lets you use it as a locking release for long exposures in B (bulb) mode.

One day I'm going to set it up looking out the window to see what my dogs get up to during the day
