What kind/brand/source of replacement/spare batteries for the K-7 is everyone using.

Thanks,

I bought two off eBay that are the same volts and mAH as the original. So far they work fine.

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Battery-for-Pentax-D-LI90-DLI90-DSLR-K7-K-7_W0QQitem...ht_4396wt_1084

Works great. 7.2v 1400 mah from eBay, ships from California so it only took 3 days to reach Minnesota.

Four genuine Pentax batteries bought from my local pusher.

2 of these. Also bought a wall hung charger (will also charge in car) from him. The batteries last as long if not longer than the Pentax supplied one.

Yes, this is an endorsement for that seller.

I see that the ones that sell at 7.4v usually have more Mah, or battery life. But problem is I wonder how that will affect the K-7 because the genuine is 7.2v, I ended up buying a 7.2v 1400 mah one since It's a safer buy without more voltage.

I just got the two on the left from DealExtreme, $12 each. The labels don't inspire confidence. Voltage measures the same as the Pentax without load. I don't think it's a risk; a battery grip with 6 non-rechargeable lithiums would have a much higher voltage.

The camera has a built in voltage limiter. And yes, the more Mah, the longer life.
