As many know this in one huge lens. I need a backpack that will accommodate this plus a couple of more lenses but not break the bank. Any recommendations?

Yeah, it is a big lens. I fit mine in the bottom of a Lowepro Primus back pack with a 16-45 and 105 Sigma Macro with space for 4 filters. Just the lens, not attached to the body. The original dividers that come with the bag need to be creatively rearranged but it works to hold those items in the bottom.

The bag is pricey at 200 bucks, so might not be what you are looking for, but it is a nice comfortable bag.

If the lens case that is included with the 150-500 is the same size as for the original Bigma (50-500), it fits perfectly at the bottom of the Kelty Redwing 3100.

The 150 500 is a bit larger than the Bigma.
