Sigma 17-70mm F2.8-4 DC Macro HSM (Contemporary) for Pentax in excellent condition with original caps, hood, box and papers.

I am selling because I have this lens in addition to the newest Sigma 17-50 f2.8 that I tested up against each other to try and decide which I like best. Problem is, that they both have tested extremely well against each other, and I can't really decide (I would really like to keep them both but being so close in performance & pros/cons it wouldn't make sense from a financial standpoint). So I have listed them both to see which one sells first and I will keep the other. AFAIK, the only "outstanding" lens (announced but not yet released) from Sigma in K mount is the 18-35 (A), which is probably the one you had in mind.

Your thinking of the 18-35mm art. I have seen this lens in person at a camera store locally and think it has been out for quite some time. You can even get it on amazon and a few copies are being sold on ebay.

Have you tried either of these vendors? They both show the 17-70 contemporary in Pentax mount on their websites.
