Optics are outstanding and nearly identical to the 50mm-A model, but not quite as sharp below f2.8 The aperture ring is smooth, the lens being made of all metal, is outstanding. The body and glass are in excellent shape. My eyesite is rapidly failing, so I can only depend on autofocus. All my manual lenses are now up for sale.
