Sharp lens it just doesn't see any use with me as I am mostly shooting with primes. I believe this is also full frame. It definitely performs above it's price point. The images of the DA35 were shot with this lens, at 28 and 105 wide open, hand held with available light (slow shutter) and at 2mp.
Includes Promaster front cap and generic push cap on rear. No hood but I do know that the hood off of my Tamron 90mm is a perfect fit, so should be able to pick up an aftermarket hood pretty cheap.
