Item Description
Selling the 'standard Pentax kit lens - the 18-55mm AL. This is the 1st gen with the all metal base. Glass is clean and clear - aperture blades are oil free and 'snappy'. Comes with the original Pentax PH-RBA 52mm HOOD and generic lens caps,

Included with the lens, is a FREE Pentax ist DL. As far as I can tell, everything on the camera works as it should - with one exception! It only takes black pictures!

It even writes the black photos to the SD card. I updated the firmware to the latest level, but no change. Cosmetically, it's in great condition. The rear LCD has some very light marks - that's about it. Will make a great donor camera. Includes Operating Manual and shoulder strap.

NOTE: In the "Item Condition" area, I indicated "Excellent" - obviously I mean the lens - the ist DL would be categorised as "Damaged".

The DA L version has a plastic lens mount and no quick shift focus - the DA version has a metal lens mount and the quick shift focus function.
