Item Description
Here's a very good to excellent example of the Takumar-F 70-210mm AF K-Mount lens. The glass is clean and clear, the aperture blades are oil-free and 'snappy'. The AF is quick and not too noisy and the "A" function works as it should.

I've included two series of 3 photos to show the lens' capabilities. These were taken on a cloudy day through 2 panes of glass, at 210mm, f8, ISO 1600 with my K-3. The first in each series is the resized, uncropped, no PP added, photo; the second is the resized, cropped photo; and the third is the resized, cropped with PP done photo. Basic Post Processing (PP) was done with Fast Stone Image Viewer and the crop tool used the 50% setting.

Comes with non-original front and rear caps and after-market lens hood.

Greetings all,

I rarely do something like this, however I wanted to share with everyone my experiences with this exact lens. This is a quality built lens, very sharp all the way through with no vignetting or softness in the corners, along with controlled CA. I have had this lens for close to 3 1/2 years and it is still my favorite. I have owned Nikon and Canon telephotos, and I still prefer the ruggedness, color rendition and overall quality images generated with this lens. My copy does not even come close to the condition that this seller has offered, and I paid quite a bit more than his asking price. If you can use a quality telephoto (Even for close-ups) don't waste time dickering over a few dineros, just get and enjoy it. You will not regret it. Probably comes to more than my two cents, ) but there you have it.
