For sale is my Pentax FA* 300mm f4.5 along with caps, hood, box and pouch.
The body shows some minor signs of wear in front where the hood attaches, but otherwise it is in great condition.
The glass is in fantastic condition and I am hard pressed to find anything wrong.

I'm surprised this amazing lens is still available. If I didn't already have the DA version, this would be on my K-3.

Tell me about it! I also have a DA*300 and see a deal like this and think to myself "hmmm... no SDM to worry about failing in the future... I could buy this one, compare some shots and keep the one I like...and if I like the FA better, I might even make money on the deal..." That's the little devil and angel sitting on each of my shoulders having that conversation, I wish they would shut up. heh heh.

What a beautiful copy of this lens. I'm really surprised someone hasn't jumped on it. The F*300 and the FA*300 render such beautiful colors and bokeh. They aren't motorized nor weather sealed, but on a beautiful not in a hurry day nothing beats them for color, contrast and bokeh in my opinion.
