Item Description
Pentax 50mm f4 vintage prime macro lens.This is probably the best bang for the buck in Pentax macro lenses IMO.It's
manual focus and exposure.You'll need to use the green button for metering in manual mode.The glass is clear,aperture snappy.
It does show some paint loss and has chips and scratches around the filter ring as seen in photo 1(doesn't affect the use of filters).Includes the rear cap and filter on the
front.

If you don't mind shooting a fully manual lens via stop-down metering, this is a fantastically sharp lens that won't break the bank. I had one and sold it via PFM; I immediately regretted selling it and quickly bought another one to replace it.

My 50mm f1:4 came with a MX body and third party 28mm 2.8 for $110 on Ebay.

Anyone without a proper macro prime needs to get this for a lot of things 1:2 is enough, and extension tubes can take it to 1:1.

I own the M 50 and M 100 f 4 macro lenses. Very sharp and I always use manual focus for macro use.
