For Sale: APS-C Kit: K-5 w/Grip, Sigma: 30, 18-250, 28-80, 70-300, Tamron 80-210, etc
Listed: 10-12-2017, 10:25 PM Total Price: 900 Currency: USD Item Location: United States City or State: Boston, MA Shipping Destinations: United States

Hello,

Listed is my APS-C Pentax Kit. This entire kit is near and dear to my heart, as outside of my K1000 and P30, this K-5 was the first dSLR that I've ever owned. It allowed me to learn and hone my photography skills. However, last year I have upgraded to the Pentax K-1... and with it a Full-Frame kit. I had kept it as a 2nd/back-up camera, however recently I acquired a Panasonic G85 (primarily for video, but will also act as 2nd-camera). This gives me the flexibility to move on completely, in the hopes that it goes to someone that can get some use out of it. These pieces have been taken care of, and treated with the best of care. I hope for someone to buy the entire kit (at discount). Items Below (prices not including shipping):

1. Pentax K-5 (Body Only) w/Grip - $350:
Purchased new at the time, the state of camera is in great working order! The only blemish that I can come up with are slight scratches on the bottom (see pics) and a small rip on the eye-cup. Everything else is in great condition. It will come with a Genuine Pentax Battery, Battery Charger, Camera Grip (though it is 3rd-party, not Genuine but works the same), Bubble-level hotshoe cover, Strap, Camera Bag, Manual. Note: it does have replacement body cap, and does not include the Original Box/paperwork. Love this camera!

2. Sigma 30mm 1.4 EX DC - $300:
This is/was my favorite lens when I needed some speed and detail. For those wondering how it behaves on Full-frame, it has a slight vignette on the K-1... only in the corner I will say that, you cannot see it when in 1:1 crop. It will come with a Vivitar UV filter, Orignial cap, and lens hood. It will not come with a bag, box, or manual.

3. Sigma 18-250 3.5-6.3 DC Macro HSM - $250:
When the above lens wasn't on the camera, this lens usually was. It is possibly the best walk-around lens, for the large range alone and pretty low aperature in comparison. For a lens with the range, it is actually quite small (when at 18mm, it is about the size of the 30mm above). It will come with the Orignial cap, and lens hood. It will not come with a bag, box, or manual.

4. Sigma 28-80 3.5-5.6 II Macro + 70-300 4-5.6 Macro - $100
These two lenses saw me through the beginning stages of building this kit... especially the 28-80. Both will come with UV filter and caps, but will not include lens hoods, bag, box, or manual. I will only sell them together.

Total for Kit = $1,000
Will sell at $900 for $100 discount. These are amazing lenses, to go with an even more amazing camera! Hope to find it a home.

[These last two, I just want to find a home, and can include them with any of the above]

5. Tamron 80-210 4.5-5.6 - $30
I didn't use this lens that much, as it was replaced with above lenses. It would come with a UV filter and caps, but will not include lens hoods, bag, box, or manual.

6. Tou/Five Star 75-200 4.5 Macro - $20
This was a fun lens to use, and due to no Auto-focus, taught me how to use Manual focus. It has really great image quality and build quality. I will say that it is very heavy! Comes with caps.

How do I upload photos? I'm trying to upload photos so people can see the different camera/lenses. I upload to the Manage Attachments, but it doesn't seem to be adding anything...??

have you looked at this

PentaxForums.com - FAQ: Reading and Posting Messages

How do I attach a file to a post?

To attach a file to your post, you need to be using the main 'New Post' or 'New Thread' page and not 'Quick Reply'. To use the main 'New Post' page, click the 'Post Reply' button in the relevant thread.

On this page, below the message box, you will find a button labelled 'Manage Attachments'. Clicking this button will open a new window for uploading attachments. You can upload an attachment either from your computer or from another URL by using the appropriate box on this page. Alternatively you can click the Attachment Icon to open this page.

To upload a file from your computer, click the 'Browse' button and locate the file. To upload a file from another URL, enter the full URL for the file in the second box on this page. Once you have completed one of the boxes, click 'Upload'.

Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window. You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.

What files types can I use? How large can attachments be?

In the attachment window you will find a list of the allowed file types and their maximum sizes. Files that are larger than these sizes will be rejected. There may also be an overall quota limit to the number of attachments you can post to the board.

How do I add an image to a post?

If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and select it from the list. This will be inserted into your post and can be located where you want it displayed.

To include an image that is not uploaded as an attachment and is located on another website, you can do so by copying the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located), and either pressing the 'Insert Image' icon or by typing after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image. You can insert pictures from your albums (?) in this way too.
