Item for Sale
XPro Graduated Neutral Density Filter Set for Full Frame and Medium Format

Asking Price
230.00 USD

Item Location
Montana (United States)

Item Description
This is the biggest and most rugged pro-level Cokin filter holder with 130mm rectangular filters, 3mm filter thickness and special pro resin formulation. No resemblance to the consumer-grade Cokin stuff.

Designed for full frame and medium format camera systems.

Holder has brass tension screws to hold filters tight. Up to 3 filters.

Sale includes: 77mm, 82mm and 112mm filter rings to fit clear up to 300/2.8 lenses (or 250-600 * zooms). I also used this with the M*400/4 for 67 and M*300/4 for 67.

Sale also includes four Neutral Density Graduated filters in original cloth sleeves and boxes:

X121 Neutral Gray, 3 stop, hard transition (the most common filter to equalize foreground and sky).
X123 Blue, 2 stop, hard (adds realistic subtle blue to overcast skies).
X125 Tobacco, 3 stop, hard (surprisingly attractive sky, common in advertising images, slight buff marks).
X197 Sunset Grad 1, 1 stop, hard (entire filter has slight sunset color, top grad is more pronounced. Turns "damn, no sunset tonight" ho hum scene into mild alpenglow).

With digital cameras you need to lock in custom white balance BEFORE adding the color filters or the camera tries to balance away the color.

Just priced this exact set at B&H...$765 plus shipping to buy these items new! Only a true pro or a real idiot like me would spend that much for pro grad filters! Take off 70% and buy from me for $230. No kidding! At B&H: Holder $91, rings $75 each, grads mostly $115 each, new prices are insane!

Everything works as new. Even the lightly buffed Tobacco grad renders just fine.

If you don't like this set for any reason, I'll take it back so your only risk is return postage & insurance.

Note that the Xpro filters use a completely different resin than their smaller filters.
