What a fun camera!

If I hadn't nicked the rear screen with a few dust-sized marks this would be sold as mint condition. No visible wear whatsoever. Shutter count just over 4400.

Includes a Hoodman LCD shade, box, charger, strap, synch cord, and instruction book.

Found that it worked well in situations others may not try...big macro and big supertele's worked surprisingly well. Smaller walkaround lenses package nicely with this camera.

I purchased this from Adam the week before the big price drop...timing!

does SDM/PLM?DC lenses work on it? Im asking this because I recently bought one from a fellow member and had to return it because it only worked on manual and screw drive lenses....I ended up returning the camera even though l loved the camera

I don't own any newer lenses...I'm an FA* geek so I've never tried the newer autofocus with it. Maybe somebody can tell us?

The K-01 review on this forum indicates that it does work with both old screw drive and new SDM/DC focusing...

ya they do work with the newer lenses, however the one that I bought didn't work with them. I would like to buy this camera but want to make sure that it works with auto focus lenses that have SDM or DC

The camera body you had must have had something wrong with the SDM contacts. The K-01 has a KAF3 mount so everything will work except the KAF4 mount and the PLM lenses. I used my 18-135 on my K-01 all the time. My DA*55 is wonderful on the K-01. I have never heard anyone else state this problem in the past. You could not be purchasing something from a nicer guy here on the Forums.
