Pentax FA* 200mm f/2.8 (price reduced)

I’m selling my copy of the Pentax FA*200mm f/2.8 lens. The lens is in beautiful condition. There are no blemishes to the lens coatings and there is no haze, oil, or fungus present in the lens. It is a nice sharp copy with beautiful bokeh. The lens will come with its caps, hood and case. Price includes PayPal fee and domestic shipping via USPS Priority Mail with tracking, insurance and signature confirmation. An international buyer will receive a $15 credit toward the actual shipping cost.

Returns accepted only if the lens is not as described. Buyer pays return shipping. Original shipping cost is not refundable. Lens must be returned in the condition received and serial numbers must match. Package must be fully insured with tracking and signature confirmation.

Thanks for looking!

The box and the B&H invoice confirm it is the K-1 Mark II.

Interested

I am interested in this lens. Do you have any idea if a tripod collar can be fixed to it? I see a variety of collars available for most tele. lenses with out collars.
I have a K5lls and a KP on the way. Do you feel either body would handle the lens well? Will you ship to Alaska?

I can’t speak to the collar question except to say that some forum members had success using collars for Canon lenses on the FA*300mm. I would recommend talking with someone at KEH or B&H used dept. I think the K5IIS would do fine with the lens. I think you would probably want to use the grip for the KP with it though for hand held shooting. Shipping to Alaska should not be a problem.

I own this lens and I don't see a need for tripod.. it's compact and i always shoot handheld.

That is good to know. Hard to tell size from a photo. I will be getting a battery grip with the KP which will provide a more substantial platform for hand holding.

I own this lens and a silver KP. Using the large KP grip and a traditional left palm under the camera base two hand support this lens is light, balances well and is manuverable. A KP battery grip would make the medium KP grip perfect IMO. My bad - the KP Battery Grip is designed to mate with the large interchangeable grip; apparently a large KP interchangeable grip is included with the KP Battery Grip.

Can’t speak highly enough of the seller. Complete endorsement from me.
