any tests done to determine if it's decentered?
Since it is always very sharp edge to edge I have never felt the need and it is certainly not something you hear about as a recurring issue with the HD 20-40.

Man hell of a good deal for a lens at $475. Part of me just wants you to keep it since you'd be selling yourself short at this point. Why not sell your primes and keep this one?

1. It covers a lot of limited serie's ranges packed into one lens
2. It's WR,
3. You can probably make more money selling the other lenses and keeping this one.

The others are limiteds also. I like it but not as much as the other limiteds like my 40 and 15. It is nice but I rarely reach for it. And I could use the money!

Not really the place to discuss it. If you are interested in it, PM me. Here is a SOOC image I took with it Saturday. Reduced a great deal for forum use.
Shot is of a cannon emplacement at Fort Knox, Maine. Built CA. 1820

Bump for the Ghosts of Fort Knox. And for the time this post is languishing on pages 2 and 3.

For the curious potential purchaser:
Here are a few from this month taken at high noon, DxO to size and make daylight K adjustment before crop. Full image is reduced to 72PPI and 1600x 1600. So added full sized crop of right hand (closer,) tower.

Then a couple of 30 inch cannon from a distance, cropped. Same day from Fort Knox which is just up the river from the bridge.

I can't believe that this is still here. I would snatch it up if I could.
