Item Description
I am the original owner of this lens. It has had a filter on it since the day I opened the box (filter not included). It's a nice lens, in very good condition, with original box, caps, hood and paperwork. The box had the proof of purchase cut out when I mailed in the rebate.

You can find an excellent summary in the review on this site, link here. It is faster on the wide end than comparable Pentax lenses, including the DA 12-24 and the 15 Limited. And 24mm on the long end get you closer to a "normal" lens than the Sigma alternatives. I find a zoom in this range to be very useful. 10mm is A LOT wider than 15 or 18mm, you can fit a lot more into the frame.

LBA has left me with too many lenses, though, so this one has to go. Maybe it can be yours!

I won't mark as a "gift" for PP, sorry. If you have specific concerns, please ask questions - I'm happy to answer any questions on the lens that you may have.

Thanks for looking - Robert.

This is an excellent lens, I've had mine for some time now, and really enjoy it. As the OP said, the 10 is very wide, giving you lots of room for photos.

I agree! I owned this lens before and was surprised by how lightweight and compact it is for being such an ultra wide angle zoom with the extended range to 24mm. There definitely are times when I regret selling it. I missed the 10mm wide angle so much that I bought a Sigma 10-20 earlier this year, which is excellent but I find I sometimes miss the ability to zoom a bit tighter to the 24mm range, so it's not as good of a walkaround zoom as the Tammy 10-24. and at f/3.5-4.5, it's better indoors and in low light situations. Good luck with the sale!

Does this have a manual aperture ring? Or all controlled by the aperture drive?
