Item Description
I am selling these lenses to reduce my collection of M42 lenses. These lenses are all quite good optically - if you do not mind a bit of manual focusing.
1. SMC Takumar 55/2 - $20 free shipping
Late version with rubber focusing ring. Good condition. Some signs of use. Glass is still clean. A front sliding cap is included.

2. Vivitar 35/2.8 - $15 free shipping
Tokina version with 52mm filter thread. Optically this lens is quite good - not as good as DA35/2.4 but close. Very good cosmetic condition with clean glass.

The image quality of this lens is quite good in the center even wide open. Uniformity and sharpness improve as the lens is closed down. The condition of the lens is good. Note that this lens does NOT have an A/M switch. If you use it on Pentax bodies, you will need to use tape / glue to fix the pin down.

My experience with this lens concurs with the review at Carl Zeiss Jena Flektogon 20mm 4 | Vintage Camera Lenses. On corner sharpness, I find it to be quite decent once it is closed down (on K1/A7). Distortion like the review said (on K1/A7) is really good. Very good ability to close focus (16 cm). The look of this lens is a bit rough with signs of use. There is a scratch in the front element (about 3mm, see second image). The filter thread (77mm) also has some damage but you can still thread in a filter or polarizer, though not all the way in (see also the second image). As often seen with other Jena lenses the focusing ring turns fine but is not very smooth. Other than the above issues, everything is in working condition. This lens does not have an A/M switch. However, it has a button that, when pressed, stop down the lens for shooting.
NOTE - I do not feel that the scratch in the front element affects image quality. I attached two images taken from summer (on A7) and you can see the image quality and the close-up ability of the lens.
CZJ 20/4 is sold.
