The lenses function perfectly, feature smooth action… wear only-no defects… no haze or fungus… a little dust perhaps, noticeable under bright light and close examination—certainly nothing that affects image quality. Includes front and rear caps, leather pouch, box, and the pictured paperwork. The rear cap is likely not the original, but functions as such (it may be from another Limited or Pentax lens of mine). The front cap has some nicks and chips to the finish.
The front element was replaced several years ago by Pentax Imaging Company in Colorado, after I slipped and fell with my camera at that time. It was returned to me quickly, good as new, and functions perfectly. Wear marks on the metal lens cap are likely from my jean's back pocket. I noticed a small abrasion on the aperture ring when I was photographing it for this ad and have circled it in red, although it is difficult to see.
Despite the above description, I consider it to be in Good+++ condition. (Compare my photos & description to others listings.) If I could carry one lens with me into the afterlife this would be the one.
