Selling my most precious, SMC K 28mm F2 SN#5105709. I am moving on to other hobbies, scaling down, hence the sale.

I plagiarized the description from a past for sale ad of the same lens by user fwcetus:

"The K 28/2 (optically not the same lens as the M 28/2 or the A 28/2, by the way) is well known for its excellent sharpness, color, and "3-D" rendering -- check out the rave PF lens reviews at SMC Pentax 28mm F2 Reviews - K Prime Lenses - Pentax Lens Reviews & Lens Database . The K 28/2 is also sometimes named (or nicknamed) for its Zeiss "Distagon" and/or "Hollywood" roots from back in the mid-1970's "

This copy of the lens is in good condition. The optics show no scratches, haze, or fungus, and there's only a minimum of dust. Functionally it is in good (possibly excellent) condition.

Hi Aseno, If this lens is still available i would like to purchase. I own the zeiss Contax version and use it both on an old Contax camera and for shooting video, it is truly one of my favorite lenses, so i would love to own one of the Pentax versions... I read that there was a short time when Pentax and zeiss had a relationship which is part of why this lens exists. -
