I recently purchased an expensive dual axis rail so this now surplus.

Neweer Macro Focus Rail Aluminum with a screw drive focusing rack. 1/4 inch tripod screw on top, Arca Swiss compatible mount on bottom, also has 3/8ths inch socket. Only a couple of months old. Paid $38 plus tax for it $28 including USPS shipping

The way the camera mounts to this one makes me wonder about stability. The design seems to put the weight of the camera on an L shaped metal attachment that seems like it might permit more vibration than some designs. Is that a practical consideration or did you find that a non-issue?
