I bought this lens here on the Marketplace. the SDM staeted acking up, so I had Uncle Vana from here on the fourm convert it to screwdrive. it focuses great, now, no issues

It will. The conversion makes the lens lie to the cameras that it is mounted on. The cameras are told it is screwdrive only.
