The scanner is in excellent condition with no scratches or dings and is operating properly. The LS 9000 ED is the only Nikon scanner model that will efficiently scan Kodachrome transparencies without extensive after-scan post-processing cleanup.
There are three alternatives for scanning software;
Nikon, VueScan and
SilverFast and a comprehensive review of all three software programs is included. The scanner was tested using all three software programs.
This scanner comes with three film holders and will allow the mounting and scanning of these film formats:
35mm Film in strips (Holder: FH835S).
35mm mounted slides (Holder: FH-835M).
Medium format film 120/220 in 645 (1-4 frames), 6x6 (1-3 frames), 6x7 & 6x9 (1-2 frames) and 59 x 82mm electron microscope film (Holder: FH-869S)
The LS 9000 ED scanner will be supplied with the following:
Nikon LS-9000 ED Brochure on PDF.
Nikon Scan Software Version 4.02 CD, Windows or Mac.
Nikon Scan Reference Manual & Easy Scanning Guide (both on the same CD).
A writeable CD containing: Nikon SuperCoolScan Brochure, Back-up copies of all the older Nikon scanning software from Version 2.51 to 4.02.
A USB Thumb Drive containing copies of items (1) through (3).
Software installation guide, review, and alternate software resources info on PDF.
Nikon SuperCoolScan 9000 ED (hard copy), Users Manual (English, French & Spanish)
Nikon Quick Start Guide (English, Hard Copy)
Nikon FH-835S, FH-835M and FH 869S Film Holders.
A power cable (& spare power cable).
A FireWire 400 Data Cable (& spare FireWire 400 data cable).
A new model UGT-FW210 Vantec FireWire PCIe Combo Host Card with hard copy Users Manual and Installation Guide (1 FireWire 400 Port & 2 FireWire 800 ports).
