Pentax K-1 SOLD $1350AUD Description
For sale is my used (first time owner) of my beloved Pentax K-1 camera. It has 119,583 shutter actuations and the camera I consider that I learned the craft of photography and shot professionally with for a certain amount of time. It has never missed a beat and has never had a serious issue or required repairing. The noteable concerns are one of the lug plastic bits is omitting (pictured), and the rubber grip around the shutter button is loose (pictured), though I am told this has no bearing on weather sealing. I find Australia a very extreme climate, adhesives don't seem to last here for any product over a prolonged period of time (at least in my specific area).
Due to the highish shutter count and looseish (though never bothered me) rubber issue, and missing Silkypix CD and one plastic triangle lug thingy, I have it priced pretty low. Please note that where it counts (the camera itself, the LCD screen, viewfinder) and even cosmetically... this camera is in really good nick for a 5yr+ usage. I am still shooting a 645D so I have split my batteries and it comes with 2 extra (3 in total), genuine Pentax batteries (3rd party ones don't seem to have longevity). The OVF cover I have glued to a hotshoe (patent pending!), so yeh... thank me later!
Please note; this K-1 is fitted with a custom Canon Matte S Type Focus Screen, I prefer it over the stock screen but there are drawbacks. Of course the necessary tools and stock screen are included and if this dull idiot can swap them out then I am sure you can too. I would keep this Canon focus screen if using fast glass like the FA Ltds (that still show the preview of the widest aperture even when stopped down) as the depth feedback is better, but if using slower glass then everything does get quite dim so its up to you.

Godox V1P (P for Pentax!) SOLD $200AUD
These go for about $388 on Amazon, I didn't even take my screen protector off mine, I dunno if those scruffs would remain after the screen protector removal, I don't care flash works fine anyway. Bought from Adorama back when they shipped to us (and it was not out for sale here yet), so its an american charger, will need a travel adapter here (but its USBC charging anyway, doesn't really matter).

No box, lost it, just as is. Works fine, hardly used tho but any scruff marks you see seem to be there for good.

Now this one is priced lower than typically what they sell for, as I notice something on the front element. I do not know what it is, its faint, hard to see, doesn't look like fungus, perhaps a scratch. It's hard to even show in a picture...
I include an image of the lens cap it came with, notice how its weirded out a bit in the middle, maybe this made some contact with the front element, I will ship it with the lens cap but the lens cap not ON the lens itself. IQ wise, with the hood on, I cannot notice this front element issue in my images (example below), but it doesn't seem right to sell it at a more normal used price like $400AUD, so yeh please be aware of that. Otherwise the lens looks to be in great nick, and I have had it a couple years and whatever the original smear or whatever mark it has has not grown or spread at all. I think its light scuffing...<shrugs>

Original owner, bought Feb '21, well loved and looked after, used professionally and cared for carefully. Selling due to upgrading to the XH2S. Camera is in great condition and never missed a beat. Comes with box and all that stuff. Honestly you'd prolly ruin a brand new one quicker within 2 weeks more than how this one looks
A final word on pricing. I have done preliminary research on completed listings etc. I am
well aware that my prices are actually fairly low compared to what I could possibly get. This is deliberate as I need to move fast on this as collectively these sales fund my next camera and I have work coming up so I can't be waiting weeks and months for sales. If you're concerned the pricing is low because it reflects something worrisome then please don't! These are competitive prices so that I sell quickly and that is all.
