For sale is the immense and superbly sharp 800mm f/6.7 ED Telephoto lens with original Pentax case, tripod mount, 1.5x custom Pentax teleconverter and rare Pentax 128mm Skylight filter (usually going for around $500, IF you can find one!) Both lens and converter come with rear and front OEM caps. This is an awesomely sharp lens when used alone or with the converter (yielding a 1200mm F/11 effective FL) even when used wide open. I used this lens for some extreme wildlife shots and to capture a moon eclipse last year. It includes the internal filter mount which has the original OEM clear glass filter (apparently important for perfect optical performance) and the focusing is internal so the lens does not change in length as you focus. It is VERY heavy (51 lbs, and 20”x20”x45” packed and boxed), despite being made of some kind of aluminum alloy, but is in excellent condition and the OEM case offers complete protection for travel. Domestic shipping costs are estimated at FEDEX Ground to most of the lower 48 is $138 to CA, $166 to ME, and FEdex "Ground" to HI or AK, $535.46, UPS "Ground" to HI or AK is $605.77. (it is considered "too large to be mailed" by USPS). If you are an international bidder please email me with your country of origin so I can provide you with an estimate of international shipping, as I am willing to sell internationally but the shipping prices are very high to most locations. (Prices quoted on the shipper's websites as follows: Germany by Fedex International Economy is $1578.19, to Japan, $1824.78. International UPS Worldwide Expedited to Germany is $1508.21, to Japan is $1727.55. It is "too large to be mailed" by international USPS.) This is a beautiful lens and in excellent condition. Local pickup is an option if you live in Texas.
