Post-Processing PP challenge#24(HDR special)

OK! so here we go again...

I titled this challenge the hdr special as i am supplying 3 exposures for you to play with.

This does not mean its a hdr only challenge, the rules as always-anything goes!
(well almost anything_1 image per pentaxian
there is also a jpg image for those that just wanna jump straight in.isolated-ev-0.jpg
and here is the 3 raw files in sequence.
isolated-ev-1.DNG isolated-ev-0.DNG isolated-ev+1.DNG

the image was taken only last week,with a sigma 100-300 f4 ex,so no real sharpening should be needed,but hey, knock yourself out!
i am only just getting to grips with the lens,as it is quite robust.

i had tried to pp this image but wasnt really satisfied with the outcome,so impress me if you will.....you have 1 week.
entries shall cease at midnight 16th may,

I'm having trouble getting the first file, ev -1, to work. In Lightroom 3 beta 2 and Photomatix I only get garbled output, in UFRaw I get the error: "Corrupt data near 0x6b444".

Anyone else have this issue?

Photoshop CS4 HDR Merge. Played around with saturation and vibrancy and exposure a bit until it looked good to me.

My addition, went with a pseudo-HDR look.

Here's my try. I don't do much HDR, but it's very fun to dabble in now and then!
I used Photomatix Pro 3.2.8 for the tone mapping, then brought it into GIMP where I cropped a bit to emphasize the car and road. Finally, I added a desaturated layer to try to avoid the "over-cooked" look.

Here's mine. I used Photomatix Pro to carry out the HDR merge, then I used PS Elements 6.0 to adjust color and crop to a 1X1 format.
