I went for an old-time feel, sepia tones with colour.

Seeing as my first attempt looked almost exactly like Alex's, I decided to go for the dark edit..... even though no one ever wins with these kinds of edits

Lets see I straightened, did saturation adjustments, inverted some, blur, cloned, healed, used USM, etc....

pano crop,levels,high pass filter,layers,masks,curves,selective color,color balance and nd gradient layers in ps raw and ps cs4.

Hard to beat Alex' entry here, so I went for something completely different. It looked like the boat had been out in rough weather, which I tried to recreate:

Here's mine. Straightened, multiple effects, and finally sharpened. I didn't crop more than necessary to straighten, as I wanted to keep most of the "storm" for context.
