Awesome ... I think LA has the most "photogenic" (quotes intended

) population out of all the cities. These shots make me want to go for a vacation there just to "streetwalk" and "shoot" people all day

I noticed they were shot with a Nikkon D7000. Is that the N equivalent to k5?

I do not believe they are equivalent at all. The D7000 has better high ISO performance but the one thing people forget, is that it will still auto focus in the dark, not to mention it has the fastest auto focus system of any APS-C bodies regardless of brand.
