Wife and dog, taken a few years ago with k100ds and FA 50 1.7, still my favorite combination to date (I'm not loving the k-x as much, for some reason) Links to larger size

nice shot with the guitar Don, too bad the case is sitting so high up though. great highlights in the bokeh

Figured that, the walk buys are always the ones that rely on fortuitous luck for all the elements. beut even when they have on out of place they still catch the best in the people. more natural than if you ask (like this one,)

I don't do a lot of portraits, and I kind of cheated on this one . See if you can figure out what I mean. Hand-held at f/8 for 1/8 sec, using a Cosmicar A35-70/4:
