Had some really amazing light at a birthday party for my niece a couple weeks past. Excuse the W/M I don't normally do so boldly, but its not my kid, and I'd hate for her mom to discover their child an an internet meme.

I'm really only sharing because of the quality of the light.. - No flash, no photoshop, minor tweeks in LR.

Very nice shot, matt. I agree with your impression of the light; it has a nice quality to it.

The Bloom of Youth


Took this print in 1968 with a Yashica Lynx 5000 with plenty of backlight.. Despite technical flaws, I like this more now than I did in 1968
