Ok here's my "son". I've been raising, feeding, keeping him clean and safe from the cats for 2 months now.
This shot he just came out of the bird bath so he looks a little rough but he's well on his way to becoming a beautiful male Cardinal.
I think this at least qualifies as a "head shot" if not I as his "Dad".

Taken at 560mm with a Q-S1 on the back end.
