Post-Processing Winner PP Competition #27

Well, first let me apologise for the delay in getting this up, wasn't feeling too great over the weekend, but all ok now.
Another good challenge and well handled by all the participants.
The usual disclaimer, all the comments are just a reflection of my personal taste!

tougefc-great colour and light, well done
ash-another solid entry, powerful crop, great depth and foreground treatment
icywarm-very good light effect, but thought the crop was a bit too tight
slinco-good b&w effort, maybe a bit more contrast required?
jmshrei-like the warm colours in this one, nice effect
mrpetkus-very good sky and a dramatic look
dandog-great feel, colour and atmosphere
song hm-dramatic b&w effort, maybe a bit "unbalanced"
mithrandir-good treatment, like the way the foreground was kept dark to hightlight the rock
christemo-good colour but a bit "blown out"
landscaped 1- argghh me hearties, ye just escaped a keel hawling!
graham v-great b&w and a good moody treatment

Well done to all and thank you for your great efforts.
Unfortunately there can be only one winner and dandog you have done it again.

I think this image, although probably "overdone" for some tastes is a great example of what can be achieved with post processing. This treatment creates an fantastic imaginary world, full of atmoshere and drama. If only it looked like that at the time! Well done dandog and we look forward to your next offering.

I can see what you like about this version ozlizard. It creates a warm atmosphere - almost Martian!

Glad you are feeling better, ozlizard. Thanks for a great challenge, I learn a lot from all of the different interpretations offered. Definitely an excellent choice for winner. Congratulations, dandog!

oh no!not again lol.
thanks guys,awesome entries from all.
little surprised as i went way overboard with this!spent over and hour just having a play on photoshop

im surprised you even noticed the foam highlights song_hm only very slight dodge!

next challenge will be up asap.
