Thanks. I should have said, they were shot at 100X magnification with the exception of the eye, which was shot at 40X.

Here's what the eye looks like at 100X.

OK, so my guess was a little off! Lepidopteran wing scales come in such a wide range of sizes.

Very nice Giant Moth...
One of the biggest in Québec.
Look at the bottom wings: looks like 2 fishes that do a hug..
I was close to only publish that part zoomed.
