Time to macgyver it
Guess it came out ok. I've got like 50 more shots to edit...... this is just the first i've done.

Wow...for a rubber band contraption you are pulling off some sweet shots!
I'd hate to see what you can do with duct tape and bungee cord!

Quick MacGuyver aside....my ex once fixed his windshield wipers in a rainstorm with a balled up dirty pair of socks...worked right up until he sold the car too! Also got my keys out of the elevator shaft with electricians tape, a piece of wire and a tape measure...saved me 120 bucks on an after hours call!

Thanks again stillshunter for this theraputic challenge. The collections are oustanding so far.
Is it normal for my LBA symptoms to increase this early in treatment?

Ditto this one....and this seems to be increasing my LBA not decreasing it. I have a hankering for a lensbaby now in a big way.

I found day 3 to be quite difficult. It's my day off or more accurate evening since I work 3-11 shift with overtime most nights. The lawn really needed mowing bad. Any longer and I would need a brush hog. One of the cars needed some work. Grocery shopping if we planned on eating this week. I took some shots at different times during the day and wasn't happy with any of them. Part of the challenge is going to be picking up the camera and coming up with something worth posting.

These 1st cousins of trantuala shots need to be labeled as Phobia Inducing-Not Safe for Viewing. I expect such ( I learned) on Macro threads but really, LBA therapy? ARRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH.

Oh, t.h.e.r.a.p.y .... I get it now.
Breathe in, exhale slowly, breathe in, hold it, exhale. Oh yes, I feel better now, a little wet, but better. G'night nurse.

Reeftool: if it's any consolation Day 4 aint much better mate....I really struggled today. I blame the weather but maybe, just maybe, I'm just fresh out of ideas

Wedgetail: I hear you brother! Things weren't no brighter further East.

Casil403: I'm with you. I had my mind set on a DA70 to fill the gap between my 50 and my 100. But after seeing Duh Vinci's album so far I'm re-evaluating....it really looks like fun!

bogiesbad: Ummm...yeah things aren't going exactly to plan. I want me a Lensbaby, a 50/1.7, a FE...oh and....

Yeatzee the Modest: They sort of worked out OK to my eye. Man, oh man, these are good!!!

All: I'm looking forward to the dialogue around Day 21..."Struggled today, after four hours of focussed effort please enjoy this close-up shot of my lens cap". Having said that we haven't witnessed our first man-overboard yet. Good on you all.

As posted above by someone else -take an insurance shot early in the day then see what eventuates without having to obsess or stress out all day.
Ended up with a couple of candidates today so that was better... Also have started to set up a mental list of photo ops - the trick is to get a shot a day - there can be no banking of shots to cover a dry spell - so may have to retake improved versions of some also-rans later in the month.
