Mea culpa....

DA* 50-135
Rokinon 85/1.4
K135 2.5
K28 3.5
40/2.8 Limited

If anything, others' images have made my LBA stronger than ever.

My wife is enjoying the new lenses, while I enjoy my A28....

Cheers, John

Whoops. This thing hadn't even started yet when one thread member sold me on the K35 3.5.... Hmmm, but is that person even participating now....

Congrats! But I won't be starting your challenge until May and I definitely won't be taking pics

LOL...Axl you could always tell the wife it will be the perfect lens for the pregnancy shots and the for the baby pictures!
LOL I'm not sure this argument would go down really well
The baby situation is covered by ltds but even mrs admitted I need lens to sit between 10-20 and 31 for people shots...
Oh well, one beautiful sunny day

Funny... his perfect baby lens is a 24 pancake... mine is a 50-135... lets hope wives never compare notes!!

For the wife shots I'd nearly agree. Although 31 & 43 seem to be my favourite lenses for her now...

Day 15 sucks I'm on my way home, tired like hell with only handful of pics on my card. Ain't in no mood taking some shots around the house. Hope there will be at least one keeper....

So congrats to axl and icywarm!
And axl you can afford a failure, just to show us you're capable of failing.
My last days didn't allow for the right state of mind, hoping in the week-end.

Yep, Sam you got me beat...you're going to need an 8mm fisheye I'm afraid....and then some pretty good stitching software

I'm with you Axl. Day 15 is a slump for me. I was on a high and then it came crashing down. Maybe the shot is fitting then, but I would have prefered a peak rather than a trough right in the middle.

Sure!

A couple of suggestions for alternative challenges are:
1) Pictures straight out of the camera with no PP
2) Allow only one photo to be taken per day with a nominated lens
3) Photos to be taken using manual exposure settings only
1) Easy enough, but pretty ho-hum in the case of my *istDS. It's not a film camera and I don't get much that's usable out of the camera. I find that everything usually comes out a bit over-exposed and low-contrast. Here in Tokyo the skies are so hazy that you'd see nothing but half the frame being white.
2) Wow. I foresee myself framing etc with one lens and subbing in "the lens". Or submitting plenty of architectural pics.
3) I can do the manual everything one as a matter of course since I don't do anything else.

Sure thing, posted my ugly mug for today's shot

And perfect theme too, no time today to go after anything, spent last few daylight hours at the bank, sorting out stolen account and fraud charges Oh people, I swear...

Anywho, look forward to seeing your takes!

Regards,
D

I had a pretty good half way day. Got in a good safe shot and a good afternoon shot. Sucky part was in between those two I managed to slice off my entire knuckle at work....right to the bone....still bleeding pretty good 5 hours later.
Just glad it's not the trigger finger.
Just spent the last 15 minutes crazy-gluing the sliced off part back onto the cut part so hopefully that will slow the bleeding.
Hurts like Hell now.

Duh_Vinci, I hope that was in the course of work and not that someone's defrauded you?

Casil403, wow. I hope you mend quickly.

Casil403, stay well. Those injuries hurt for awhile.
Boy, I haven't heard about crazy glue being used in these circumstances since my uncle glued a molar back to his jawbone some 20 years ago. He is still alive and kicking.

Wow, hump day came today. And after tomorrow, it's downhill.
Great stuff all around from everybody. Some good photographic eyes, craftsmanship, and talent in the Single in September albums.
Creative opportunities and lackluster moments, at least for me; this challenge runs the gamut.
I am happy that the attrition rate has been minimal and then because of outside circumstances.
Good luck to all, the rest of the way.
