Racer X 69 - We're looking for tiny here...I try not to be too picky about it, anything under about a half inch or so. But when you get into something the size of poppies and roses, I gotta speak up. Please post those in the "Bigger Flowers" thread, and stick to the really small stuff here. If it's bigger than your index fingernail, or the shutter button on your camera, it probably doesn't belong here.

Sorry, I copied the wrong picture when I posted the roses. The shot I intended is there now.

The poppy's were small, about 1/2 inch and smaller.

No problem, just needed to let you know since sometimes people don't read the original post and miss that. I've never seen poppies that small, from what I've read I thought they were 3 times that size...been a long time since I saw any at all come to think of it...

Those poppy's spread from some that were planted in a flower bed at my last house by the previous owner. They were allowed to go to seed, and they are everywhere.

When we moved Mrs. Racer dug up some bulbs and tubers to take along and inadvertently got them too. We managed to get rid of them in the flower beds, but they are persisting in the lawn, especially in areas where the mower doesn't reach.

For this one I only had a Industar 50-2 with me, and it has a pretty poor magnification (MFD), so I couldn't focus on just one tiny flower. But it is tiny flowers!

Got a couple a few days ago

Bluets after a heavy dew. These are the small white ones, about 1/4 inch.

This is the larger blue one, a bit under 1/2 inch

The droplets on the white ones look like diamonds.

That's a beautiful effect -- they look almost translucent.
