Nice set hangman43, great detail. Looks like you've got all the pine pollen you could wish for, too.

My nephew keeps mowing the yard and removing all my wildflowers that fit this category, but I got this one before he mowed. It's a Florida Tassle and smaller than a dime. Shot with Tamron 90mm SP 2 f2.8.

Loads of pollen here too.

Some of the residents in my wildflower patch

Dwarf Dandelion. These are all over the place, don't mow for a few days and Dandelions of all descriptions start showing up.

Crimson Clover. I planted these 3 years ago from seeds gathered down the road.

I can't remember the name of these, they grow everywhere, I don't mow till everything seeds out every year to let everything propagate. It's knee high by then but worth it.

Just spotted these today, all over the flower patch. NO idea what they are, not in the books I've looked through so far, about the size of the shutt3er button on my K30.

Also spotted a tiny white flower, so small a 50mm by itself didn't do it much good so I'll have to try again with a macro rig. Anything 1/8 inch across probably deserves a macro anyway...and if I can find one, I spotted some Indian plantain blooming, even smaller...

Nice shots, Hangman!
I can't compete with that, so I'll go the other route - window light and ancient Soviet lens

A couple of Tamron SP Di 90mm 1:2.8 Macro 1:1 handhelds (cropped)

Yeah, I'm still around, I just haven't posted for quite awhile. These are just a couple shots from my backyard and the flowers are pencil eraser size or smaller. The one isn't in that great of focus but I believe that there is a tiny bug crawling around in there!
