Myzinum wasp on wild carrot, I like the flowers here.

Small potter wasp on yarrow - you don't often look so closely at yarrow, but it's pretty interesting.

Stiff Goldenrod reminds us each of those tiny flower clusters is filled with smaller flowers.

Need an ID of this one. They grow in abundance in my yard on slim stalks with flowers all along the stem. And they are wild and they are smaller than a dime, as Pete says goes here.

Sorry, don't know what that one is and don't have my flower book with me. I'll look through a couple of books and see if anything jumps out at me.

If you can get a wider shot with some of the leaves too, that might help.

By the way I think I see a couple of sensor spots at bottom left.

I'll see if any are still out there but I doubt it, as nephew mowed backyard today. I'll see if there are any on the north side.

I'm surprised no one else noticed those dust spots. But I did and have cleaned the sensor since taking this photo.

I've had a bad sinus this past week and this was the first day to get out and see some wildflowers, first ones using the Sigma Macro 50mm 2.8 MF lens.

Pretty Color Combination!

I have been photographing almost exclusively flowers from around the state of Oregon for just about eight years now. My wife is quite a Green Thumber and grows some really beautiful subjects for me to shoot. :0

Pentax k100D Super with Smc PENTAX-DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL Lens.

Thanks so much for viewing.

Fifteen is a crowd.

K-50 with Takumar F 70~210mm 1:4~5.6mm Lens. I felt the red flower by itself made a rather bland photograph, so I included it's younger siblings.

Thanks for viewing.
