Sorry but I screwed up. It's actually Texas Toadflax, not Vervain, don't know why the wrong name popped into my head. It's still blooming here in my wildflower patch too.

Thanks for the clarification. None of it left here after nephew mowed the yard all wild flowers are gone except the hardiest.

I recently posted Duthman's Breeches, but this is a better photo, from the top to bottom it's about 4-5 inches.


Blue Phlox and a yellow flower that I haven't looked up yet. I had to really get down and position to inlude the edge of the moss covered stump.
